To get us started: USDLA welcomes its newest state chapter, the Delmarva Digital Learning Association, and its founder, Dr. Alexandra Salas. She joins forces with two leaders from Wilmington, DE-based Goldey-Beacom College — Deanna M. Merritt, Ph.D. SHRM-CP, Faculty, Management & Marketing Director, Center for Professional Development & Partnerships and Russell Michalak, Director of Library & Archives.

About this webinar: This session explores the transformative role of digital technology in expanding global education access and emphasizes the importance of AI literacy and its integration and presence in education and workforce development to prepare individuals for the evolving job market. Hosted by DelMarVa Digital Learning Association and Goldey-Beacom College(GBC), this symposium will help educators and administrators navigating the evolving landscape of online education.

“This conference aims to bring together educators, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore and discuss the transformative role of digital technology in expanding global education access,” says Dr. Alexandra Salas, president of the DelMarVa Digital Learning Association. “Through our discussions, this gathering seeks to explore innovative practices, research findings, and strategies in distance learning education.”

Proposals are welcome for presentations in the following tracks, representing key trends in distance learning:

• Transformative Role of Digital Technology in Expanding Global Learning Access
• AI Literacy and Integration in Education and Workforce Development
• Organizational Structures for Effective Online Learning Environments

Proposal formats:

• Article Submission for Publication: Presenters may submit articles based on their research or best practices for publication in conference proceedings or affiliated journals.
• Workshop: Interactive workshops that engage participants in hands-on activities, discussions, or demonstrations related to the conference themes.
• Lightning Presentation: Brief presentations (typically 5-10 minutes) that provide insights into a specific topic or project.
