About Dan: Dan led the creation of the Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) Leadership Network, a program for advisors who value financial planning, independent research, and networking with other highly successful leaders. He comes to CFP Board with 20 years of related experience in non-profit programming, corporate social responsibility, and foundation grant writing.
Prior to CFP Board, Dan worked at EVERFI, a financial literacy technology company based in Washington, D.C., where he helps Fortune 100 sponsors create financial solutions that reach thousands of students in schools. Previously, Dan served as VP of Grants and Programs at the United Health Foundation, the philanthropic arm of UnitedHealth Group. In this capacity, he helped the Board of Directors set direction and with local grant partners to impact the social determinants of health, including housing, nutrition, jobs, caregiving, education, and more.
Dan has a Bachelor’s Degree from Carleton College, a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Certificate in Not-for-Profit Management from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
