Meet our guest: Akeiva Ellis is a financial planner, educator, and proud daughter of immigrants. She is the co-founder of The Bemused. She and her husband promote inclusive financial literacy for young adults through YouTube video content, an online program, and speaking on personal finance topics under the brand. Akeiva currently serves as an ambassador for the CFP Board and has been quoted in various media outlets, including The Boston Globe, Business Insider, RIA Intel, and CNBC. She has also been a featured guest on PlanStronger TV and numerous podcasts. She hosts the podcast Ballentine Broadcast: Conversations on Black Wealth. In 2021, Akeiva was recognized by ThinkAdvisor as a Luminary in Diversity & Inclusion.
